Dr. Robert A. Bellows (MSU Faculty, Retired) — Calving Season Preparation (90-minute program)
Listen to Dr. Bob Bellows as he lectures to Montana State University students to prepare them to assist in the calving team program for the ASA Carcass Merit Program heifers. Even though retired, Dr. Bellows is recognized as a leading authority on dystocia and much of his research findings on this subject have been incorporated into the beef cattle industry in terms of establishing sound breed objectives. Of particular significance are his findings relative to the impact of birth weights on calving difficulty.  View recording here
