2026 ASA Communications Intern
The American Simmental Association is seeking a communications intern for summer 2026. This position offers hands-on experience in livestock industry communications, media, and event coverage.
Position Details
Dates: Approximately May 15 – August 15, 2026 (flexible based on university summer break schedules)
Location: Remote or in-office (Bozeman, MT)
Travel: Travel opportunities available; approved internship-related travel expenses will be covered by the American Simmental Association
Compensation: Paid, full-time summer internship; additional hours may be required during event travel.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a current college student or recent college graduate.
Internship Focus Areas
Projects will be tailored to the selected applicant’s interests, background, and skill set. Potential responsibilities include:
Creating original digital content
Managing social media
Designing print and digital advertisements
Capturing and producing photography and video content at various events
Writing features and/or articles for the Register and SimTalk
